ULTRASONIC RHINOPLASTY SAN DIEGO CASE #1

This patient felt her nose was too large for her face. She was unhappy with the bump on the bridge of her nose and felt that the tip was drooping. She also thought her nose seemed disproportionate to the rest of her facial features and disliked the hanging columella and drooping nostrils.

During her consultation Dr. Kolstad illustrated multiple changes to her nose using computer modeling. The patient was shown how the nose would appear with a straight bridge or one that had more of a curve to it. Using computer imaging different outcomes can be shown allowing the patient to choose the best nose for her face. This patient desired a more refined lift for the nasal tip. In addition to her rhinoplasty this patient was treated with upper and lower eyelid surgery commonly called a blepharoplasty.
