This complicated rhinoplasty required a combination of advanced techniques to achieve the desired outcome. Dr. Kolstad performed a subdorsal Z flap let-down maneuver to lower the bridge while maintaining key surface attachments. After reducing the bridge, Dr. Kolstad refined the dorsal aesthetic lines with surface techniques, sculpting the cartilaginous shoulders to achieve a softer, more feminine contour.

A strong cartilage graft was added to the nasal tip to maintain support and prevent the tip from drooping during smiling. Nasal tip contour was achieved using cartilage sparing turnover flaps and polygon tip suturing technique. Nostril excess was reduced with a lateral alar base reduction.
