Eat Good Foods
Eating real, natural foods in a variety of colors will help your skin get as many nutrients as it needs to work properly and be more beautiful. Packaged, processed foods contain more preservatives and chemicals that dull skin and make our bodies work harder to eliminate waste. When you’re eating, look past the calories and reach for food that provides nutrients and minerals that support the health of your skin. One quick and easy tip is to try and eat foods that look like what they are. Processed foods will no longer look like what they once did. Head to the farmer’s market and find some real foods to incorporate into your diet.
Minimize Stress
We may not be able to ever get rid of stress completely, but we should learn how to better manage it. Stress weakens your body: you may feel more tired, realize that you’re sick too often, or have skin that looks dull, lackluster, or acneic.
As we age, our collagen levels go down and our skin is less able to bounce back. Consider exercising on a regular basis to release stress from work, or take up yoga to learn how to manage stress in a healthier way.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are one of our favorite treatments to help improve skin texture and fight signs of premature aging in your skin. If you’re looking for more radiance in your skin, chemical peels can help reveal a more youthful layer of skin.
