WIDE NOSE RHINOPLASTY BEFORE AND AFTER SAN DIEGO

Case #8.

This patient was unhappy with the appearance of her nose. She believed the bridge of her nose was too wide for her face and wanted a rhinoplasty to achieve a narrower bridge with a more feminine curvature. She also wanted to improve the asymmetrical tip of her nose and reduce the nostril exposure from the side view.

During surgery, Dr. Kolstad created spreader grafts and performed osteotomies to carefully reshape the bridge of her nose to create a beautifully contoured, slimmer bridge that better fits her facial shape. By performing a conservative cephalic trim and complex nasal tip grafting, Dr. Kolstad achieved a more symmetric, refined nasal tip.
