Dr. Kolstad sees many patients who are concerned about signs of aging in their neck. This patient did not like the prominent appearance of her platysmal bands and the sagging skin under her chin and along her neck. She wanted a necklift surgery to help create a more defined jawline and improve the contour of her neck.

Dr. Kolstad used expert techniques to carefully redrape the loose skin to recontour her jaw and neckline in a natural-looking way. To help tighten and smooth her central neck, Dr. Kolstad performed a special corseting technique to re-contour her prominent platysma muscle. The result is a more defined and youthful-looking neckline that makes this patient look several years younger!
