MIDDLE EASTERN REVISION RHINOPLASTY SAN DIEGO
Case #1.
This Middle Eastern patient wanted to enhance the appearance of her nose. She had a rhinoplasty in the past but was unhappy with the results from her surgery. She believed her nose appeared too elongated from the profile view and too droopy from the front view. She wanted to see a rhinoplasty specialist in La Jolla to achieve a more feminine nasal shape and improve the balance of her nose with her other facial features.
During this patient’s surgery, Dr. Kolstad created rib cartilage grafts to add support and definition to the tip of her nose. He also lifted and tightened her hanging columella (skin between the nostrils) to make the nose appear less droopy and more refined.
Revision rhinoplasty is a challenging cosmetic procedure that requires the advanced training, expert techniques, and experience of a specialist. Dr. Kolstad is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in La Jolla who specializes in achieving beautiful and artistic revision rhinoplasty results. At your consultation, he will take the time to ensure that he fully understands your concerns and goals. He will work with you to create a customized approach that will make your nose complement your other features and ethnic background.
