Many patients decide to combine multiple surgeries in order to balance their features and improve facial harmony with only one downtime. This patient came to Dr. Kolstad’s office because she noticed a loss of volume throughout her face that made her look prematurely aged and she did not like the appearance of her sagging neck skin. She was also unhappy with the appearance of her upper eyelids, stating that her excess eyelid skin made her look tired.
In addition to lifting and tightening the facial skin and muscles, Dr. Kolstad performed a facial fat transfer to restore youthful volume to her temples, cheeks, smile lines, and jawline. Using a special corseting technique, Dr. Kolstad re-contoured her platysma bands to enhance and define her neckline. Dr. Kolstad also performed an upper blepharoplasty to remove excess skin from her upper eyelids and refresh her eyes.
