Procedure Information

This patient was unhappy with the sagging skin around her lower face and neck, which made her look older than she felt. She sought out the expertise of a qualified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Christopher Kolstad and decided to undergo a lower face and neck lift. Facelift costs are provided during an initial consultation with the doctor after proper evaluation.

During the procedure, Dr. Kolstad made incisions around the ears and into the hairline behind the ears, lifting and tightening the skin and underlying muscles to smooth out wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance. The procedure typically takes a few hours and is done under general anesthesia.

After the surgery, the patient experienced some swelling and bruising, which is expected with any surgical procedure. However, she was able to return to work and resume her daily activities within a week or two. Over time, the swelling subsided, and the patient was thrilled with the results of her facelift.
